All our baby and toddler necklaces are made with a safe clasp that meets all current safety requirements. When the necklace undergoes tension, the screw clasp will open and release the wire to prevent any risks of strangulation. Moreover, the beads will remain on the wire thanks to safety crushers we add on each end of the necklace, so that the child cannot swallow small pieces. Pure Hazelwood necklaces are not dangerous for babies!

We use beaked hazel wood (Corylus Cornuta), carefully selected by our team of harvesters in Quebec, Canada for our creations. This species of hazel wood has been traditionally used by First Nations for hundreds of years for its healing benefits. Today, it is scientifically recognized for its richness in polyphenols, molecules that have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.

For more than 25 years, thousands of satisfied customers of all ages wear Pure Hazelwood necklaces and bracelets to help relieve inflammation, commonly referred to as acidosis, in various forms: teething pain, joint pain (arthritis, osteoarthritis), digestive disorders (acid reflux, heartburn, GERD), mouth sores (ulcers), chronic skin diseases like psoriasis or eczema, etc.

Handmade in Canada, this necklace is mounted on a nylon-covered metal wire. It is adorned with genuine Baltic amber and rose quartz stones, glass beads and metal pieces, all lead-free and cadmium-free.

Just like other quartz, rose quartz is found in large crystals, both pink and translucent. Its color comes from manganese. It is also called conite, azetulite, dragonite, lodolite, konolite, azeztulite. According to Greek mythology, the rose quartz stone would be the origin of Aphrodite, the goddess of love. This quartz is a bearer of peace, love and friendship. It accompanies depressive people and promotes the speed of healing, whether physical or moral. It also helps relieve burns and chapping. Finally, it would keep the nightmares away.

Amber is not a stone strictly speaking, but rather a fossilized vegetable resin following an important climate change. Its color spectrum varies from pale yellow to black, but we use only the honey and cognac shades for our confections. With diamond and jet, it is one of the three gems of plant origin. Amber helps whoever wears it to express its personality and take its place. It is an ally in the fight against the forms of depression. Its anti-inflammatory properties are recognized to help relieve painful tooth flare in babies. It can also be used to warm the cobbled throats and decongested the respiratory tract.

Warning! Pure Hazelwood necklaces are not teething toys. Make sure you choose the right size, that falls below your child's chin, so they cannot bring the necklace to their mouth. Keep children 3 and under handling any necklace or neck jewelry under adult supervision. For safety reasons, replace the necklace every 3 months and check for signs of wear regularly.
