GARNET
Garnet stone is named after the pomegranate, both because of its blood red color and in the shape of its grains. The Romans also called it an escarbuncle. Although garnet is one of the stones whose colour varies enormously, we use the most common variety in lithotherapy, the almandin garnet. Its hue is a very dark red, almost blackish brown. It is not suitable for tense or angry people, as it accentuates this trait of character. It promotes the supply of energy and vitality. It's an excellent sexual stimulant. It reduces the inhibitions of its carrier and allows it to fight depression. On a physical level, garnet would tend to regulate blood pressure and flow.
