All our baby and toddler necklaces are made with a safe clasp that meets all current safety requirements. When the necklace undergoes tension, the screw clasp will open and release the wire to prevent any risks of strangulation. Moreover, the beads will remain on the wire thanks to safety crushers we add on each end of the necklace, so that the child cannot swallow small pieces. Pure Hazelwood necklaces are not dangerous for babies!

We use beaked hazel wood (Corylus Cornuta), carefully selected by our team of harvesters in Quebec, Canada for our creations. This species of hazel wood has been traditionally used by First Nations for hundreds of years for its healing benefits. Today, it is scientifically recognized for its richness in polyphenols, molecules that have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.

For more than 25 years, thousands of satisfied customers of all ages wear Pure Hazelwood necklaces and bracelets to help relieve inflammation, commonly referred to as acidosis, in various forms: teething pain, joint pain (arthritis, osteoarthritis), digestive disorders (acid reflux, heartburn, GERD), mouth sores (ulcers), chronic skin diseases like psoriasis or eczema, etc.

Handmade in Canada, this necklace is mounted on a nylon-covered metal wire. It is adorned with glass beads and metal pieces, all lead-free and cadmium-free.

Warning! Pure Hazelwood necklaces are not teething toys. Make sure you choose the right size, that falls below your child's chin, so they cannot bring the necklace to their mouth. Keep children 3 and under handling any necklace or neck jewelry under adult supervision. For safety reasons, replace the necklace every 3 months and check for signs of wear regularly.

👉 What are my shipping options?

All orders are processed and shipped from Quebec, Canada within three (3) business days of receipt. You will receive an email notification once your order status changes to “Complete,” indicating that your package is on its way.

Available shipping options will be displayed after you enter your shipping address, before finalizing your order. Customs duties and fees for orders shipped outside of Canada are the customer’s responsibility, though they are uncommon.

• Letter mail via Canada Post (no tracking number) - Delivery times may be unpredictable and packages may take up to 45 days before being considered lost. If you choose this shipping option, we will not be able to track or locate your shipment once it has been sent. Please keep this in mind when placing your order. IMPORTANT! Please note that all heavy/voluminous items such as pyramids and light bases cannot be shipped by letter mail, since they don't fit into an envelope. 
  • Quebec: $5.50, or FREE on orders of $100 and up

• Shipping by Carrier or Accelerated Parcel (with tracking) - We ship using Canada Post, GLS, Purolator, Loomis, FedEx, and Planète Courrier. Delivery is typically fast, with an average transit time of 2–3 business days. The carrier will be selected based on your location, cost, and delivery time; therefore, we cannot guarantee a specific carrier in advance.

In rare cases, available shipping options may be unreasonable (for example, a $75.00 shipping fee for a $40.00 order). If no viable option can be found, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a refund.
